Our business is Move Dance and Fitness (My wife is all about Dance and you guessed it I'm all about Fitness)

We initially started by validating the biz by talking to people, than we quickly re-did our garage $1K got a good response (via Craigslist, Neighbors, Family and Friends, our church growth group) and then moved to finding a leasing space...

Here's exactly how we got our first 3 customers (and more):

#1 reached back to people that used to workout with me
#2 and #3 My wife reached out to students that she had prior
#4 I reached out to people at Work
#5 and #6 my two guy neighbors
#7 my neighbors daughter

Now we are setting ourselves up for a HUGE August Start!
Goal: 116 students by Sept 30th.
Status: 96 to go
